Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity stay off until you choose “allow analytics.” choose “reject” to keep them off. the “analytics settings” button at the bottom of each page lets you change your choice. if you withdraw permission after they have loaded, the page reloads with them off. cookie-free aggregate counts from GoatCounter continue either way.
📥 what gets collected
aggregate visits + clicks. GoatCounter counts visits, selected clicks, and signup outcomes without setting analytics cookies. these counts help me see which pages and links get used.handled by GoatCounter
optional site measurement. Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, selected links and sections, and whether the signup service accepted a request. it can use analytics cookies to connect visits, including a visit from this site to the merch shop when the shop's own consent and settings allow it. the signup event contains the form's name, not your email. consent choices, browser limits, and shop settings mean the reports do not account for every visitor or purchase.handled by Google Analytics — only after you allow analytics here
optional session recordings + heatmaps. Microsoft Clarity shows clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement, and page content so i can find confusing parts of the site. Clarity masks typed input, and this site also marks the signup area for masking. masking reduces exposure; it is not a promise that every piece of personal information anywhere on a page is automatically removed.handled by Microsoft Clarity — only after you allow analytics here
your email — only if you submit it. the signup form sends your email to my email list so i can send you the clip and new drops. joining the list and allowing optional analytics are separate choices.handled by Klaviyo
merch orders. the merch links take you to the Fourthwall shop. Fourthwall handles the checkout and order details under its own policies. this site's analytics events do not contain card information.handled by Fourthwall
other offers. where an offer uses Stripe, payment happens on Stripe's checkout. that is separate from the Fourthwall merch shop. order information such as your name, email, and what you bought may be used to deliver the offer; card entry stays with the checkout provider.handled by Stripe for offers that use it
🤔 why
to see what's broken, which links the crew uses, and whether a signup or shop visit makes it through. email and order details also let me send what you asked for.
i don't sell my mailing list or swap it with other creators. advertising consent stays off in this site's optional analytics setup.
🤝 who touches your data
Google Analytics — optional site and merch-visit measurement.
Microsoft Clarity — optional session recordings + heatmaps.
GoatCounter — cookie-free aggregate counts.
Klaviyo — stores the email list and sends the emails.
Fourthwall — the merch shop, checkout, and order handling.
Stripe — checkout for other offers that use Stripe.
Patreon, YouTube, Discord, and other linked sites — their own policies apply when you visit them. the Fourthwall shop also manages its own consent choices; your choice here does not automatically set your choice there.
remembering your choice
this site stores your analytics choice on your device using first-party local storage, with a first-party cookie to remember rejection or keep optional analytics off if saving fails. the choice lasts up to 180 days. clearing your browser's site data can remove it and bring the choice back.
if you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Clarity may set their own analytics cookies. withdrawing permission clears the accessible analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page with both tools off. it does not delete data already collected or cookies belonging to the separate merch shop.
🚪 how to opt out
emails: every email has an unsubscribe link. one click, you're out, no guilt trip.
optional analytics: open “analytics settings” at the bottom of this page and choose “reject.” you can still use the site and signup form. GoatCounter's cookie-free aggregate counts continue.
browser controls: blockers may limit tracking, but their behavior varies. this site's analytics setting is the control provided here; a browser's Do Not Track signal is not a substitute for making that choice.
deletion: want to ask about data already held? email 2flyentllc@gmail.com. i'll help with data i control and point you to the provider for anything it handles separately.
